New Datasets Published

• June 2026 datasets were republished from EHRI Status. June 2026 Status data now include all previously missing DOW records, updating the affected visuals and raw data outputs.

• August 2026 datasets were published from EHRI Status, Dynamics, and Payroll data feeds, updating FWD visuals with the latest data. Dynamics transactions reported by DOW meet the expected record counts for 2026.

• Federal recruitment data refreshed daily starting with this release.

• New versions of Employment, Accessions, and Separations raw data files were published for January 2010 through the present. Bargaining unit descriptions (bargaining_unit) have been updated with more complete and accurate information from OPM’s Federal Labor Information System (FLIS). Bargaining unit status (bargaining_unit_status) now follows the same redaction rules as bargaining unit code (bargaining_unit_code) and description (bargaining_unit).

• No other significant data quality issues have been identified.

Updated GPPA Navigator

• Added four Early Career DHA appointment authorities.

• Updated references for tenure group legal authorities KMM, PGM, and PKM.

• Added three new legal authorities, PRB, PRC and PRD, for changing tenure groups, and three new remark codes for tenure changes: T12, T13, T14.

• Applied data governance cleanup throughout: rules that carried their own wording for a standard authority or remark now show the standard text, 14 authority names and NOA 780 were aligned to their official wording, instructions on rules without an authority code were standardized, and duplicate hyperlinks were merged.

• June 2026 datasets were re-published from EHRI Status. June 2026 Status data now includes 77,743 missing DOW records. There are still approximately 6,211 missing records from the following components: AF1S, DD01, DD08, DD16, DD21, DD23, DD25, DD29, DD53, DD65, and DD68. Once these providers are able to submit, we will re-release the data to complete the Status data set. June 2026 Dynamics files reported by data provider DD07 continue to be missing from the release due to a change in data processing at the Department of War.

This affects certain visuals and raw data outputs. Data will be updated once all files are received. There are approximately 83,000 missing records from the following components: AF3T, AF6D, ARXF, DD01, DD02, DD04, DD06, DD07, DD08, DD10, DD12, DD13, DD16, DD21, DD23, DD25, DD26, DD27, DD29, DD34, DD35, DD48, DD53, DD61, DD63, DD65, DD68, DD69, DD71, DD74, DD80, DD81, DD82. This issue is expected to persist through at least the July 2026 submission, currently scheduled for release on September 2, 2026. Introduced Guide to Processing Personnel Actions (GPPA) Navigator, a searchable reference tool for federal HR personnel action coding

• GPPA Navigator is a new web-based tool available under Policy & Guidance > Tools that helps HR Specialists identify the correct codes for personnel actions without manually searching across the GPPA PDFs.

• Guidance reflected in the Navigator is current as of July 2026. This is the initial release.

• Rule search and filters

  • Search GPPA tables by keyword across all chapters, or browse by chapter and table.

  • Narrow results by Nature of Action Code (NOAC) or Legal Authority Code (LAC).

• Codes and remarks, and export

  • View the NOAC, LAC, and notes for the selected rule.

Added "Give feedback" button across all pages on site

• Feedback helps us improve the Federal Workforce Data site. This update removes barriers to sharing input, making it quicker and more convenient to tell us what's working and what could be better.

Added default "All" option to EHRI Data Validation Checks page
