Initial FWD version launched
The initial version of the Federal Workforce Data (FWD) site was launched publicly. FWD replaces the legacy FedScope website with a more modern, user-friendly site to better meet the needs of the federal government and the public for timely and reliable federal workforce data.
OPM expects to release new data and features each month.
New datasets published
November 2025 datasets were published from EHRI Status, Dynamics, and Payroll data feeds.
USAJOBS current job announcements are updated as of January 5, 2026.
November 2025 datasets are complete (no missing files), and there are no significant data quality issues.
Legacy FedScope data re-released
Data previously released on FedScope (from the EHRI Status and Dynamics files, going back to FY 2005) is now available on FWD through consistent structured monthly text files. Time-based visuals in FWD generally go back to FY 2015; raw datasets are available in the Data Downloads page from FY 2005 to present.
